DJ RURU is a Montreal-based techno DJ and producer known for fusing industrial rhythms, cinematic soundscapes, and cyberpunk-inspired aesthetics. Her style is hypnotic, dark, and alluring, bridging the underground with mainstage energy and curating each set as an intentional, immersive journey.
Her dynamic stage presence has already earned her recognition at some of Montreal’s most iconic venues, including Théâtre Fairmount, Le Hall Saint-Catherine, Club Pelicano, and Marché de Nuit Asiatique. Notably, she has opened for international acts such as BEAUZ and Inquisitive, showcasing her ability to captivate diverse audiences while staying true to her underground roots.
As co-founder of The Last Drop she runs a community-driven collective, dedicated to building a platform for local talent. Through meaningful pop-up events, they creates spaces where emerging artists can be heard, recognized, and celebrated — giving back to the community while shaping the future of Montreal’s electronic music scene.
